A Driver is head and shoulders above the others throughout the international season: François Goldstein (BEL) wins all three rounds of the World Championship (Vevey/CHE, Hoddesdon/GBR and Villacoublay/FRA), as well as all the European Championship events in which he takes part! In the World Championship, Goldstein finishes ahead of the Britons Micky Allen and Paul Fletcher, and the Germans Hans Heyer and Karl-Heinz Peters. Germany repeats its victory in the European Nations’ Championship, the rounds of which are held at Jesolo (ITA), Copenhagen (DNK) and Fulda (DEU). Great Britain and Switzerland complete the podium. The CIK launches a Cup reserved for Juniors, and the winner of this event held in Sweden is the Italian A. Pacitto.
